Mirabelle: a small yellow plum, and the eau de vie made from the plum,
usually from France, Switzerland and Germany. The symbol of
Alsace Lorraine. (And the trees found growing on the street
where Heidi settled in 1982.)
At Mirabelle
we are committed to supporting sustainable agriculture, utilizing local organic produce, wild salmon, free range eggs
and suicidal veal.
Cakes and
other pastries are made with butter, cream, and free range
eggs. Chocolate is usually Belgian Callebaut; occasionally
Sharffen Berger; and Valhrona when it's not priced like cocaine.
Marzipan, ladyfingers, ganache, preserves, lemon curd, and candied
organic citrus peels are all housemade.
Wedding cakes
for same sex couples are discounted 25%. If you are not a same
sex couple, please consider including www.freedomtomarry.org in
your registry.
